Moroccan Government Scholarships for 2024- 2025 | Fully Funded Scholarship by HEC

 


MOROCCAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI) has offered scholarships to Pakistani students for admission to the Moroccan Public Institutions of Higher Education for the academic year 2024-25. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1.     ​Be a Pakistani/AJK national & permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationality holders are not eligible.

2.     All applicants are required to provide the valid HAT or USAT test score. Those applicants who do not have the valid HAT/USAT test score, please visit the Education Testing Council website for more information. Nomination criteria is based on HAT test score for Masters/PhD programs and USAT test score for Bachelors. HEC reserves the right to change or modify the nomination criteria.

3.     A minimum of 12 years of education (FSC/A-level) Degree for Undergraduate program, with maximum age of 23 years.

4.     A minimum of 16 years of education in relevant fields of study for Master's program.

5.     A minimum of 18 years of education in the relevant field of study for admission in PhD program in respective Moroccan University.

6.     Applicants must fulfil other requirements set by the concerned university in Morocco.

OFFERED PROGRAM

The Moroccan Government shall only consider applications in the following programs for Undergraduate, Master, and PhD.

Medical Studies - Paramedical Science – Commercial and Management Science - Engineering and Technological Science – Agronomic and Veterinary Science and Architecture.

TEACHING LANGUAGE:

French being the primary language in the majority of training establishments in Morocco, in particular in the scientific technical and economic sectors, the candidate who will be admitted to the said institution, will have to continue refresher courses in the French language in appropriate center for this purpose during the academic year 2024/2025(Alliance Francaise, Center Culture Francals, etc.) in the country of origin.

At the end of the linguistic upgrading programme, the students retained in the “university training" quota, admitted to the end of linguistic training tests, will be oriented, according to the scientific quality of their files and according to the order merit, towards training courses.

The “Arabic Language and Literature" and “Islamic Studies" courses are taught in Arabic. Candidates for these courses must be proficient in this language. The option “legal Science" is taught by choice (Arabic or French).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

​Perspective applicants are not required to submit any document (hard copies) to HEC at this stage of the application process. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit the following documents. To avoid any inconvenience later on, perspective applicants are directed to prepare an application dossier as per following details.

1.     Copy of signed application form of HEC.

2.     Attested copies of all educational documents.

3.     Copy of CNIC.

4.     Candidate's letter of motivation.

5.     Documents to certify outstanding educational performances and candidate's involvement in extracurricular and volunteering activities.

6.     Letter of recommendation to emphasize candidate's qualities.

7.     For doctoral students, dissertation/thesis prepared for obtaining the Master's degree and the doctoral thesis proposal.

8.     Non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than six months before the application deadline.

9.     All applicants must submit medical certificate of satisfactory health condition. A written certificate from a physician to prove that the applicant does not have the following illnesses: AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, C or any other epidemic conditions.

10.  In case of employment, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from applicant's employer will be required.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

​Apply online at: https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk.

After registering and filling your profile, please select “Moroccan Government Scholarship Program ". After submission of the application, get its printed copy to be signed by applicant.

DEADLINE:                                                                              

The deadline to submit the online application on HEC portal is 10th May 2024.

Note: It is the sole responsibility of student(s) applying for any professional degree (Medical, Engineering, Nursing, Architecture, Law, Veterinary Medicine etc.) to first get confirmed its accreditation from the respective Councils i.e. Pakistan Medical  and Dental  council (PMDC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), Pakistan Council for Architects and Town Planners (PCATP), Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC), Pakistan Technology Council etc.

Moroccan Government Scholarships 2023-24 by HEC for BS, MS & PhD

 





HEC Scholarships from the Moroccan Government 2023–24 All candidates from Pakistani nationals and AJK permanent residents are now eligible to apply for the BS, MS, and Ph.D. programs. Pakistani students seeking fully funded scholarships to pursue undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees.  Numerous scholarship possibilities have lately been made available to Pakistani nationals by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation. It is suggested for students looking for HEC scholarships apply for these Moroccan Scholarships 2023. There are options for all subjects and specializations, including the arts, sciences, law, information technology, and health care.

Scholarships are made available for entry into state technical, higher education, and professional institutions in Morocco. These higher education scholarship programs have an online application method. Before 20 September 2022, candidates must submit their online applications. The scholarship deadline was set by HEC.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for Morocco scholarships, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Citizen of Pakistan/AJK and permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationals are not eligible.
  • Selected scholars will be available to begin their academic studies at Moroccan universities by the start of the academic year (September/October 2024).
  • By the application deadline, the applicant must possess the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 years of education (FSC/A-level) degree for the undergraduate program. Age 19-23 years.
  • At least 16 years of education in the relevant fields of study for the Master’s program
  • At least 18 years of study in the relevant field of study for admission to a Ph.D. program at an appropriate Moroccan university.
  • Language Requirements: The medium of study is French and only those students who have demonstrated satisfactory results in the French language learning program will be given the green light to travel to Morocco to pursue their scholarship/training in French. In language, higher education in Moroccan public institutions. No one will be allowed to receive a scholarship without demonstrating satisfactory proficiency in the French language. Those who do not have sufficient knowledge of the French language should start a French language course by enrolling in a right center like Alliance Francaise, French Cultural Center, etc. to take a French language course in their country. Arabic and applicants from these fields must have a certificate of fluency and proficiency in Arabic.
  • Applicants must meet other requirements set by the relevant university in Morocco.
  • The candidate must not have been previously suspended/expelled from the Kingdom of Morocco due to any criminal activity.
  • A successful applicant to a French language training program, organized in their home country, must have one of the following documents for the academic year 2023, before arriving in Morocco.
  • A long-term visa (student visa)
  • health certificate confirming that they have been vaccinated against contagious and infectious diseases, especially tuberculosis

  • A statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study
    Research proposal
  • Certified copies of all academic degrees and transcripts
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Three letters of recommendation (academic or professional)
  • Medical certificate
  • English language proficiency certificate preferably TOEFL or IELTS.
  • NOC from employer (in case of employment)
  • One copy of the HEC application form in separate spiral binding.
