University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2024-25 for International Students without IELTS

  



Applications are now open for the University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2024-25 in Japan. The Government of Japan is providing scholarships to international students from around the world. The scholarships cover all expenses and are available for both Master and PhD degrees at the University of Tokyo. If you are interested, you can apply for these fully funded scholarships for the academic session of 2024-2025.

Japanese language proficiency, as well as IELTS or TOEFL scores, are not mandatory requirements for Japanese Scholarships. Instead, you can provide an English language proficiency certificate from your university when applying for the MEXT Japan Scholarship 2024. This scholarship offers the opportunity to study in Japan with full funding. The duration of the Master’s degree scholarship is 2 years, while the Doctoral degree scholarship extends to 3 years.

 

The University of Tokyo is a public research university in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1877, the university was the nation’s first Imperial University and is considered to be the most selective and prestigious university in Japan.

Financial Benefits:

  • 143,000 JPY Per Month (Research Students).
  • 144,000 Yen/Month (for a student of a Master’s Program).
  • 145,000 Yen/Month (for a student of a Doctoral Program).
  • Arrival Air Ticket & Return Air ticket will be provided by the MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship.
  • Application Fee, Admission Fee, Tuition Fees will be Borne by the Toyohashi University of Technology Japanese Government Scholarship.

  • All International Students outside Japan. Eligible Nationalities: Check Here
  • Applicant Must holds a Bachelor’s Degree for Master Degree Program.
  • Applicant Must Hold a Master’s Degree for Doctoral Degree Program.
  • Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1987.
  • English Test Score or English Certificate from University.

  • Field of Study and Research Plan (Download)
  • Official Academic Transcripts from both undergraduate and graduate schools (Originals or Certified copies)
  • Certificate of Graduation or Provisional Certificate from both undergraduate and graduate schools (Originals or Certified copies)
  • Abstract of Thesis (if completed) or a description of your thesis research in progress
  • Proof of high performance or good achievement record
  • Recommendation Letter
  • Photograph
  • Certificate of language proficiency
  • CV (Any Format but, it must include all of your academic and employment history.)
  • Photocopy of your passport
