Applications are now open for the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2025 in Malaysia, offered by
the Government of Malaysia. International students are eligible to apply
for the Malaysian International Scholarship. The MIS is open to studying for a master's
degree and a PhD degree in Malaysia. This

This Malaysian scholarship for students aims to support the Malaysian government's effort to attract, motivate, and retain talented human capital from abroad. Financial Benefits:
The Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2024-25 in
Malaysia is a fully funded scholarship. It will only cover basic expenses given
below.
- This scholarship will cover tuition fees.
- A monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 will be given per month.
- Successful
applicants are expected to independently arrange their travel to Malaysia
(at their own expense). Travel expenses will not be provided by
the Government of Malaysia.
- All
applicants are highly advised to check the expected living expenses in
Malaysia.

- A certified copy of a passport as evidence of nationality (minimum of 6 months’ validity).
- A
certified copy of the academic transcript.
- A record of all the courses taken throughout the degree programs must be reflected
in the academic transcripts.
- Applicants
must submit transcripts of their undergraduate studies and

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants have to meet the following criteria to apply online for the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS):
- Not more than 40 years for a Master’s degree and 45 years of age for a PhD degree.
- For
the Master’s degree, applicants should obtain a minimum
of Second Class Upper (Honors) or a minimum CGPA
of 3.5 at a bachelor's degree.
- Ph.D. applicants
should obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good results at the master's degree level in a similar field of intended Ph.D. study.
- A
written proposal with a minimum of 1,000 words that is
relevant to the field of study.
- Proof of English language proficiency, such as an IELTS or TOEFL score. Optional
